I
have learned early this morning there are one or more groups of loan
partners getting together names of interested persons for a class
action lawsuit against the government. Although I have not seen the
specifics I suspect very strongly they will be claiming injuries as a
result of our governments interference in this deal.
If you know of anyone collecting names for such an effort please send
me details and I may, again *may* publish it in a future update.
Also early this morning I received a call from a wonderful gentleman
and his very articulate and well informed wife. They told me they have
known Neil, our seller since 2013, have always been aware of his past
challenges but have yet always supported him.
Apparently they are putting together a petition of sorts that if you are interested in participating please see this link
(CORRECTED LINK) where it
will ask you for your electronic signature, and then simply press
submit. Even if you decide not to participate in this petition I think you should at least give it a good read.
You know, I just don't get it sometimes... There are a few people circulating absolutely false information.
For example one person claims "we have spoken to Neil" since his arrest
late last week. And I can absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt,
inform you no one outside of a very tight inner circle of people have
spoken to him. And those conversations simply cannot be made
public, just cannot be made public! So please don't ask me for
those specifics.
So the things these people say are just not to be trusted.
Listen, I realize, I'm not stupid, these same people will say I am the one telling the lies. So be it.
I have been married to this deal for three and a half years. I use my
REAL name. My real and traceable email address. My business
address of 25 years has never been hidden. Even my personal residency
address is of public record.
So just ask yourself, why do they hide?
Also, please know this:
I cannot and will not respond to any questions regarding any specifics about our seller's current legal status.
Let's leave that up to him and his lawyers.
Let us not use the internet as:
1) the prosecutor
2) the judge
3) the jury
Everyone deserves to be heard correctly and completely in order to
clear their name, and not be tried in the court of "Internet Public
Opinion."
I know my personal loan partners are all smart enough to realize the
fairness and correctness of this request. Please pass it on to
those who might challenge you.
Have you ever been involved in a business or worse personal / family
situation (family always trumps business) where it became and befell
upon you to 'solve' the issue?
You and I both know what you did - You focused every ounce of your energy and your time on the problem at hand.
This herculean effort most people have gone through at least one time
in their lives would have required you to at the cost of your regular
business or personal practices, to simply set them aside for the time
being.
We all have to do this when something major happens, and the very
reason things must be set aside even though a simple reply to an email
or taking a five minute phone call are terribly terribly distracting.
It's not the time we must spend on these other things, its the fact these other things cause us to lose focus.
This is the all important "think time."
Thinking is how we solve issues accurately and not with knee jerk
reactions because we are trying to juggle everything else also.
You might wonder why go on about this. Well, here's an example...
My phone began ringing at 7:30am this morning, and by noon I had
received 18 phone calls. All of that in addition to all the 'non
deal' email from loan partners asking me for specifics.
All of these represent those "think time" distractions.
A research study at the University of California at Irvine found that,
on average, it takes around 23 minutes for most people to get back on
task after an interruption.
So even if it's a five minute call it can take an enormous amount of
time past that five minutes to achieve that level of focus I was in.
So please understand when I ask you to not send me any questions, I have a very very good reason for this request.
I hate having to adopt this short term policy as each of my personal
loan partners is important and deserves my attention. If you have ever
emailed or called me you know this.
But for now I just cannot reply individually to everyone and I simply must be left to do what I must do without interruption.
